SOPA's Seminar At SPH Media Centre, 3rd December 2008 report

SAA throughout its formation has sponsored and endorsed industry partner's awards and events, as well as presenting its own. In recent times, we have endorsed as Sponsor, SOPA's (The Societiy of Publishers in Asia from Hong Kong) "MEDIA INSIDERS SERIES" seminar recently held in Singapore and hosted by SPH Magazines on Wednesday, 3rd December 2008 at the SPH Media Centre. SPH Magazines is a member of SAA as well as SOPA.

The seminar is essentially a forum in which 2 distinguished speakers and a panel of moderators discussed the issues of "The shifting roles of Media in the New Era - A Platform vs A Message" presented by Steve Garton; and "Does the Internet mean the end of civilisation as we know it?" presented by Andrew Green.
