   A quick round-up of the Cannes Lions awards screening at St. Regis on 9th October, 2008

We have a good turn-up of about 60 people despite the odd commencing time of 4pm as these pictures show:

Three people walked away with valuable prizes: an exclusive fountain pen from Pilot, and 2 Canon printers. Second last picture above shows Ben, SAA President, giving away one of the Caono printers. Wholesome door gifts were distributed by courtesy of Nestle. The meeting ended with some of us attending Canon's cocktail reception on the 2nd Level, tugging along our door gifts. Will we do it again? Yes. Watch out for the announcement next.
